Elections
Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom works hard each election year to survey the medical freedom positions of as many candidates as possible.
Being an OAMF Verified Candidate means that the candidate has indicated to our volunteers that they support Ohioan’s rights to medical freedom, including the right to informed medical consent for the individual to freely accept or decline, without coercion, medical procedures or pharmaceutical products that carry risk of injury or death, including but not limited to vaccination, surgery, prescribed drugs, and medical devices.
So join us in applauding these brave people who are running for office with a good understanding of the issues and who will champion your right to freely accept or decline all medical products and procedures — for yourself and your children. Because there is risk, and there must be choice.
2026 May Primary Election / Voter Guide
Our survey asked questions about where candidates and incumbents stand on parents rights for vaccine choice, vaccine, mask, and testing mandates in the public and private sector, their support of OAMF-approved legislation and their willingness to sponsor or co-sponsor medical freedom legislation at the state or federal level. We also looked at any available voting records, and their medical freedom stance on their social media and political platforms. Our scoring system provides voters with an OAMF medical freedom “grade” for each candidate.
