Rep. DJ Swearingen — champion and joint sponsor of HB 12, and a board member of the Ohio House MAHA Caucus. Serving his third term in Ohio’s 89th House District, a University of Dayton School of Law graduate, he is committed to parental rights, the Second Amendment, life, and medical freedom, having advocated for OAMF legislation. DJ is a founding member of the Ohio MAHA Caucus, established in November 2024, to promote the pro-medical-freedom agenda in the legislature. He and his wife Angela, along with their three daughters, are active members of their local Catholic Church.
