Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom will hold a “Right to Know” town hall for the residents of East Palestine to discuss newly released data from two of the Government Accountability Project EPA whistleblowers: chemical exposure expert Stephen Petty, and independent testing expert Scott Smith.

Renowned chemical exposure expert witness Stephen Petty and Government Accountability Project whistleblower and independent testing expert Scott Smith will be joining us for a town hall on September 11, 2026 at 6 PM at The Barn at Firestone Farms in Columbiana, OH. The focus of this Right to Know town hall will be to provide an overview of Petty’s expert reports submitted in court, and his expert analysis and review of Smith’s comprehensive testing results that were gathered during his 34 trips to East Palestine over the last three years. After their brief presentation residents will be free to ask questions of the experts up until 8 PM.

Petty’s expert court reports were previously unreleased and the class action attorneys withheld Petty’s testing results from their clients. On August 25 OAMF submitted a public records request to the Ohio EPA for Petty’s recent documents along with those of a plume modeling expert (Dr. Paul Rosenfeld) which have been in their possession since July. Director Logue did not respond to our request. We have obtained these documents from another source and they are now going to be available to the public through a court portal and through Stephen Petty’s website.
