Kate Tietje, Modern Alternative Mama
Lecture topic – Why Access to Natural Health Products is More Crucial than EverKate is the owner of the popular wellness blog, Modern Alternative Mama, and of an herbal business, Earthley. She is also the author of Natural Remedies for Kids, a beginner’s guide to using natural remedies at home. Kate is passionate about medical freedom, and her goal is to increase access to and knowledge of natural health. She’s a homeschooling mother of 6, and her family lives on a small homestead Southeast of Columbus.

Ravi Kulasekere PhD, ND, BCHHP
Lecture topic – The Role of Traditional Naturopathy in a Pharmaceutical Driven Healthcare Model
Dr. Ravi Kulasekere is a PhD and a board-certified holistic health practitioner who completed the Doctor of Naturopathy course of study from the Trinity School of Natural Health in Indiana. Prior to becoming a naturopath, he was a board-certified medical physicist, a career that spanned almost 13 years in the field of cancer care. The last five of those years he was the Director of Clinical Medical Physics at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. In November 2016 he voluntarily left his position as chief medical physicist, and opened his own holistic health practice, Do No Pharm Naturopathy LLC in Lakewood, Ohio. He is also actively involved with Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom. In his spare time, he loves to travel, enjoys gardening, ethnic cooking, astronomy and playing with a toddler and her train set.

Dr. Kelli Buckner, D.O.
Lecture topic – Healing through Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy
Dr. Kelli Buckner is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her BS from East Carolina University and later went on to complete her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency at Western Reserve Hospital. Dr. Buckner has held teaching positions at Kent State University, Ohio University, and others. She’s worked professionally in a range of settings, including Akron Urgent Care Centers and Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center. Most recently Dr. Buckner practices medicine at BowTie Medical, in the Cleveland area, which focuses on Homeopathy, Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy, wellness programs, health coaching, telemedicine, and nutrition as an alternative approach to health and wellness from the traditional allopathic approach.

Alison Hazelbaker, PhD, IBCLC, FILCA, CST, RCST
Lecture topic – Overview of Lip & Tongue Tie Related Issues & Treatment
Dr. Hazelbaker has been a therapist for nearly 30 years. She specializes in cross-disciplinary treatment and to that end has taken training in several modalities to best assist her clients. She is a certified Craniosacral Therapist, a Lymph Drainage Therapy practitioner, a Rhythmic Movement Training educator, a certified NOMAS assessor and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Her original research on tongue-tie, done in 1993, has changed clinical practice both in the USA and abroad. She authored the Assessment Tool for Lingual Frenulum Function (ATLFF) during her Master’s Degree program. The ATLFF remains the only research-based tongue-tie screening process in infants under 6 months. People recognize her as an expert on infant sucking issues and the treatment of same.
