OAMF would like to thank all of our subscribers, members, and volunteers for your dedication to medical freedom and informed consent. Because of you, we sent 400 postcard petitions and 400 letters to legislators and the governor, visited dozens of our representatives, distributed information about HB 193, and put on a big speaker event in Westlake! It just doesn’t seem possible that we accomplished so much in one year.
Look for next year to be even bigger. We’ll be working to get legislation and protections into Ohio law, and we’re planning a large events at the Statehouse in January and in Avon in May. We can’t do it without you, so please stay involved in whatever ways you can!
Let’s make 2018 even better!
Coming in 2018 – Mark your calendars
- January 10 – Join us in raising awareness for Guillane-Barre Syndrome, 10 AM to 2 PM, at the Ohio Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus, OH 43215, in the atrium. The FREE event is open to the public and will feature Mike Bailey Jr. telling the story of his dad, Big Mike, who lost his life to GBS complications July 2017. Dr. James Lyons-Weiler will discuss the mechanisms by which Big Mike’s one and only flu shot resulted in a devastating neurological disorder. Other medical and legal professionals will present from their perspectives, and a GBS survivor will give a first-hand account of her experience with the paralyzing effects of a flu shot. Download the flyer and press release. Find the event on Facebook or online.
- May 12 – Join us for our annual event in Avon! We have an exciting speaker lineup that we’re finalizing right now. Watch for details.
